The 27 year-old MacDonald has copped victories on the ACT Late Model Tour and the NASCAR Busch East Series this season, and will make his first trip to “The Nation’s Site of Excitement” since running with the Busch East Series in the 2003 Labor Day Classic.

(Hermon, Me) It was a busy weekend of racing at Speedway 95, with racing both Saturday, and Sunday, with rain spoiling a little of the action on Saturday Night
The Pro-All Stars were in town Saturday for a 150 lap event, and brought the PASS MODS along for the ride. Gary Norris, Jr. was the winner in the Mods, with Chris Staples second and Chris Smith third. Richie Dearborn earned the win in the PASS Super Late Model 150, with Trevor Sandborn, second, and Scott Chubbuck in third.

Mansfield, OH (August 26, 2007): Matt Kobyluck ended his inaugural appearance at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway with a runner-up finish after pressuring eventual race-winner Sean Caisse throughout the 150-lap distance. Kobyluck’s finish enabled the Mohegan Sun Casino Race Team to gain 10 points on NASCAR Busch East Series, Grand National Division point leader Joey Logano as the season winds down to only two events remaining.
“Second place was as good as it was going to get. I would have loved to have gotten by him on that restart,” said Kobyluck of his final shot at the lead. “He had the better car so to come out of there second was just about what we expected. I’m real happy with that and I’m proud of my guys for the effort they put in.”

Sidney’s Kevin Douglass came into the weekend as one Wiscasset Raceway’s hottest drivers, winning four of the last six Stock Mini features. That hot streak continued Saturday night as he dominated the 50 lap main event, capping off another full program at “Maine’s Center of Speed”. Douglass started on the outside of the front row, took the lead from Brent Roy on lap four and ran away to the convincing win by a full straightaway.

Demers, a regular weekly competitor at the high-banked ¼-mile oval, fell just short of scoring a major upset victory at last year’s Bond Auto Labor Classic 200.
